BOI – Song Of A Wanderer

Boi is a story about identity – a young woman becomes the ‘girl with a mustache’ and later an attractive man, a boi. Private archives and self-reflective portraits form an intimate, rough account of 12 years of transition against the backdrop of ever-changing, vibrant cities like Tel Aviv, Tokyo, New York, Amsterdam and Milan.
But apart from a liquid sexual identity this portrait in the first place is about someone who wants to stay out of the categorizing and fixed structures.
