Laliv Melamed

Laliv Melamed is a film scholar and curator currently completing her PhD at the department of Cinema Studies at New York University, where she also received her MA. Melamed co-edited a special issue of International Journal of Politics, Culture and Society, and published articles and a book chapter in International Journal of Politics, Culture and Society, New Cinemas, as well as the anthology Silence, Screen and Spectacle.Melamed’s work has also appeared in various art and film publications in Hebrew and English. Since 2012 she has been a programmer for the international competition in Docaviv: Tel Aviv International Documentary Film Festival, and the curator of its new competition Depth of Field.
