MYANMAR DIARIES is a collection of short films by ten young, anonymous Burmese filmmakers, combined with raw citizen journalism capturing the junta’s brutality and the courageous resistance against it. The film documents Myanmar’s journey from military coup and mass protests to brutal repression and a rising armed revolt. Blending documentary and fiction, the filmmakers use creative methods to protect identities, making this an urgent work as Myanmar fades from global headlines.
