Originally named “Brennpunkt: Skyggekrigen”, this thrilling documentary series is about how Putin’s shadow war is unfolding in the Nordic countries – and in the rest of Europe.
For more than a year, a team of award-winning investigative reporters and documentary filmmakers from Nordic Broadcasters DR, NRK, YLE and SVT have been researching and filming all over Europe to investigate how the Russians operate undercover in our part of the world. The result is both frightening and uncovers daunting patterns and perspectives. In the middle of the investigation the sabotage of The Nord Stream gas pipes makes it more evident to try to take a much closer look of Russian military activities in our Western societies.
