Award-winning director and stuntman Lasse Spang Olsen embarks on an adventure in the Philippines, ending with his crucifixion using 7-inch nails. After surviving a near-fatal accident, Lasse decides to seek God through crucifixion, inspired by Filipino men who undergo this ritual to connect with God. Three months after his accident, Lasse receives a text from a religious guide warning of his stomach issue. Ignoring the advice, he faces life-threatening complications. Determined to find faith, he plans to be crucified on Good Friday to achieve divine contact. Despite being a non-believing Protestant, he undergoes a surprising three-month experiment.
